Trey Howard - TAAMS Board President

Trey has been passionate about aviation since childhood. Trey followed his dream and went on to be a licensed A&P Mechanic. Today, he has over 24 years in the Helicopter EMS Industry, with 11 of those years with the former legacy program of San Antonio AirLIFE. Today, Trey serves as the Sr. Director of Safety, Quality Assurance, and Health Compliance with Air Methods.

Trey is the proud Dad to two incredible adult children. His son, Brenden, is studying Space Flight Operations at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and his daughter, Geni, is a second-generation Howard now working for the Supply Chain division of Air Methods in Denver, Colorado.

Trey enjoys skiing, cruising, working with wood, a good football game, and occasionally playing the drums. His motto is if you can't play well, play loud.

Trey has served two terms on the GETAC Air Medical and Specialty Care Committee and is proud to serve on the committee for 2024 in support of the State of Texas.

Stacy Putman- TAAMS Immediate Past President

Stacy is the Director of Transport for Cook Children's Teddy Bear Transport. Stacy's tenure at Cook Children's started in 1999 as a Respiratory Therapist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Stacy joined Teddy Bear Transport in 2008, where she took the role of Respiratory Coordinator in 2013 and became the program director in April 2020.

In addition to her duties with Cook Children's, Stacy has served two terms (2018-2020 and 2020-2023) on the GETAC Air Medical and Specialty Care Committee.

Stacy has lived nearly her entire life just west of the DFW Metroplex in Weatherford, now Aledo (Go Bearcats)! Stacy's oldest son, Koby, is 27 and lives in Denver, and she also has a 12-year-old son, Paxton, at home. Stacy loves to spend time with her family and friends on the lake in the summer and then head to Koby's area for all things winter when they can't get the boat out. Fun fact: for many years, Stacy held two different licenses with the Texas Department of Health; one was her RT license, and the other was her nail tech license.

Jeremy Thomasson- TAAMS Vice President/President-Elect

Jeremy Thomasson- TAAMS Vice President/President-Elect

Jeremy serves as Program Director for PHI Air Medical in Texas. Overseeing nine rotor-wing bases, as well as a ground critical care program. Jeremy has been involved in EMS since 1998 and Critical Care/Air Medical Transport since 2008 and currently holds certifications as an FPC and NRP.

Jeremy's roots begin in Frontier Texas EMS. Throughout his career, Jeremy has served as an EMS Director, Field Training Officer, Outreach and Staff Educator, Flight Paramedic, and Air Medical Base Supervisor. He has instructed in multiple EMS and critical care programs, both at the local and collegiate level, presented at state and national EMS conferences, and also serves as an item writer and subject matter expert with the International Board for Specialty Certification for the Flight and Critical Care Paramedic exams.

Joshua Cools - TAAMS Treasurer

Joshua Cools - TAAMS Treasurer

Joshua is the Director of Business Development for Memorial Hermann Trauma Service Line. Joshua has been with Memorial Hermann since 2010, when he started as a flight paramedic.
Joshua received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and his MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Joshua spends most of his free time with his family: Eliza (wife) and four boys ranging from 4 to 14 years old. As you can expect, there's never a boring moment with four boys in a single household. The Cools family enjoys spending time outdoors biking, sailing, and working on their ranch in Northeast Texas

Lee Ann Jones-Fewell - TAAMS Secretary

Lee Ann has been an RN/ Paramedic since 1995, starting her healthcare career in Florida at the only Level 1 trauma center for 13 counties. Lee Ann has been in the Air Medical Industry since 2001 with her first job at BayFlite in St. Petersburg and then moved to Texas to join CareFlite in 2002. In 2005, Lee Ann joined PHI Air Medical, where she was Clinical Manager and a staff Flight Nurse at the Ft. Worth and McKinney bases until returning to CareFlite in 2014. Since returning to CareFlight Lee Ann has served as a nurse planner for the ANCC program, preceptor, and educator for new staff.

Lee Ann completed her Master's Degree in Nursing Administration in 2022 with the hopes of expanding her role in supporting those who take care of others in her future endeavors.

Shannon Georgeson-TAAMS Co-Executive Director

Shannon joined TAAMS in September of 2023 and is immensely looking forward to supporting the Board in their initiatives and the TAAMS community.

Shannon first became involved with the EMS community in 2018 when she joined PHI Air Medical as an Administrative Assistant in the Houston area. She now serves as a Project Coordinator for Flight Operations within PHI. Previous to this, Shannon worked in the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery industry for close to a decade.

A native Houstonian, Shannon currently resides in the Cypress area with her husband and two children; a 12-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. Outside of work and kids' activities, Shannon enjoys cooking and spending as much time as they can traveling as a family.

Fun fact: Shannon is an award-winning pastry artist and food photographer
